My mother’s side grandfather was the chief of a Buddhist temple, I used to spend many hours conversing with Spirit.
My father’s side Taiwanese grandfather became a vocalist in Japan, believing in his fate.
In my childhood, prayer and music naturally blended in one (and crystalized in me).
And harp worked on me like a sculptor, tipping off what doesn’t belong to me and refined me to my true self.
Freely and abundantly prayer and sound are here in my presence, My loving ancestral lands, Taiwan and Japan also are there.
Undisturbed life’s continuity, The warmth in nostalgia, I play them with my harp.
